This is a dubbed BBC documentary about savants. Sometimes, along with the disabilities of autism, some people show truly amazing talents and skills that people without autism don't generally have either. It's a fascinating juxtaposition, which is probably why there's been a lot of attention to it in the media ("Rainman" is a good example of it).
This documentary focuses mainly on these special skills, and it really does make you sit back in awe of the people who have them. It's a nice documentary to watch.
When the people who are the focus of the documentary speak, it doesn't dub over that, but the rest of the program is in Japanese. I especially liked the way the Japanese woman mimicked the posh English lady's accent in Japanese lol. Of course, it's a documentary, so it's going to be difficult for a lot of people, but actually there are very few scientific terms and such, it's aimed at the general population, and is more of a human interest story of some cool people rather than try to explain their abilities scientifically so much. So i marked it Intermediate.
Even if you can't understand, you can still enjoy the documentary, i think. :)
